The fraternity home at 1300 Blackhawk Road offers many amenities to allow for a balanced living environment.
Living
- Can comfortably accommodate 51 “live in” residents
- Has 25 sleeping rooms (on two floors)
- Private scholarship wing for members with GPA’s above 3.0
- Each room has a direct Ethernet and WiFi connection for internet
- All rooms have dead bolt locks and the locks are re-keyed every year guaranteeing a unique key for every resident every year
- All major utilities are included with each semester’s room, board, and dues (RB&D). Included utilities are electric, gas, water, and garbage removal.
Provided Services
- Provides thousands of dollars annually to members who reside in the fraternity home and achieve a 3.0 or higher Grade Point Average (GPA)
- Annually the fraternity has available to invests over $35,000 in upgrades and improvements to the physical home
- Supports the risk management policies of the grand chapter of Phi Sigma Kappa including a zero tolerance on illegal drug use/distribution and hazing
Interior Spaces
- Has a spacious formal living room with fireplace
- Includes a computer lab with minimum of 6 work stations, independent server access and back up, a laser printers, additional plug in network/internet access, and additional work/study space
- Secure wireless internet access through out the building so every member can access the internet anywhere
- Provides a spacious foyer/reception area including an 82″ video display
- Wireless Amazon Alexa access to select music to be played in all showers and most common areas.
- An executive rest lounge with 4 large TV’s, game consoles, & large seating area
- Has a 3000 square foot recreation/basement space with a pool table, foosball table, Multiple T’V’s (including a 65″ 55″ (2), and others

Onsite Services / Safety
- Provides onsite laundry facilities (washers and dryers) for all residents
- Has motion activated light switches in all common areas and restrooms to reduce energy output
- Has only LED lights used in the building to lower energy usage
- Has fully functioning hard wired and remotely monitored smoke detectors in every room (Remotely Monitored Fire & Security System)
- Has hard wired and remotely monitored carbon monoxide detectors outside all sleeping areas
- Features a fully zoned and remotely monitored burglar alarm system for added protection of the building during breaks and holidays when no one is present and the system is armed
- All our safety and life safety devices automatically call fire and/or police in the event of an emergency.
